Hi lovelies recently I went to the beach and I had so much fun. I am now heading to D.C. Normally I would have thrown a bunch of clothes together and hope they match. This time I looked up a lot of efficient ways to pack and I can't wait to share them with you. Read til the end to find out my essentials when packing.
1. Roll your clothes
This saves so much space and you can roll and outfit together. This takes less time than folding. Also when you need to get dressed quick you can say goodbye to looking for an outfit because you rolled your outfit. Sometimes I even roll jewelry with the outfit.
2. Check the Weather
Okay this one is pretty obvious but a lot of people forget to do this. One time I went on a trip thinking it would be sunny all the time but it ended up raining a lot and i had to borrow leggings from a friend. You don't want to pack snow stuff and it be warm. So check the weather before you leave for the trip.
3. Make Bags
For example putting bathing suits in one bag helps so much. The items that are not really part of the outfit can be put in bags. Then you unroll your outfit and grab what you need from the bag.
4. Create a Checklist
A checklist will help you make sure you pack all you need and when you are heading home from the trip you can make sure you didn't forget anything. I made a cute standard one that you can use just click here to get it then print it out.
Now for my necessities for a trip. The first one is chapstick because my lips get chapped on a flight or on a road trip. Pen and paper are a must because I always love to draw and I get my best ideas in the car. A pillow because it makes the ride more comfy. I got this one at Home Goods. Last is music! Music makes the trip more enjoyable and fun. My favorite road trip song is Flaws by Bastille.
