Hi lovlies, I am so excited to tell you that I am working on my design page. I will be posting my favorite designs I draw. When they are up you guys can comment your favorite designs. My designs soon be a fashion line that I will sew so stay tuned. Now back to my post. Do you have scrap fabric and have no idea what to do with it? Then here are some ideas that are helpful, stylish, and cute. My scrap fabric is from a recent dress I made and the fabric I bought at Paron Fabrics. Comment if you want to see the dress I sewed!
-A pin cushion
First you will need a small frame, your scrap fabric to fit your frame, and stuffing. Take your scrap fabric and put it it on the back part of the frame. Next take stuffing and stuff the fabric. Quickly shut the back and put on your pins.
-Refashion a lamp
You will need your lamp, a good amout of scrap fabric, and spray on glue. This one is my favorite because it is so easy and fun. First cut your scrap fabric to fit your lamp. Then spray your lamp with the tacky spray and put on your fabric. I did only one side because I had very little fabric. If you don't have enough fabric then mix fabrics to make a unique lamp.
-Cover your pencil holders
Follow the steps from refashioning your lamp but cut the scraps to fit your holder. This one looks great on any desk.
- Diy Peter Pan Collar
Click here to print out the pattern. First fold fabric in half twice and put your pattern on the edge of the fold. Cut the fabric but make sure not to cut on the fold. Next hot glue the 2 peices together and hot glue straps too. Finally cut rough edges and your done! If you want to add edge or flair add pearls or studs.
Bonus!!!! If you have fake flowers laying around hot glue them to a mason jar for a cute desk storage holder or take wire and make a flower crown. Comment down below your favorite Diy.
