Hi lovelies, here is another post in the #SchoolWithThareni series. I am having a lot of fun planning and writing this series so I hope you are enjoying it and finding these helpful. So all of the school supplies shown in this post are from Staples. All the craft materials are from Michaels.
So this is a simple DIY. Well most of these diys are simple but this one takes 5 minutes. Start by cutting five stripes that are the width of your notebook in blue washi tape. Equally space the the stripes down the notebook bit leave about one inch at the top to pretend it is a margin. Next cut red washi tape the size of the length of your note book. Stick it on the left side of the notebook leaving a inch from the edge of the notebook.
So this DIY is so cute! First you gather your materials and write your name in the center with gold sharpie. Also write the name of your school in the left corner. In the right corner gather four stamps and place them in a square. Draw a couple squiggles next to it and at the bottom do a couple lines. There you have a simple envelope. (I did this on my sisters portfolio so that's why is says Jiana)
Now I don't know about you but I always lose my pencils then I can't tell if they are mine. So an easy fix is to take strips of wash tape and put them on your pencils then you have cute pencils that you will always know are yours.
Spice up a boring planner by Mod Podgeing it! So take your favorite magazine and cut out quotes, words, emojis, and pictures that you like. Position them on your planner then take the back of each piece a a put on the Mod Podge. Then after they are all glued on take a layer of Mod Podge and brush it all over the planner to secure it and make sure it lasts all year.
Now this DIY is on a portfolio but you can do it on almost anything a sharpie can draw on. Take a gold Sharpie and an old tape roll or duck tape roll depending on the size you want your dots to be. Trace the circle then fill it in. Repeat these steps until you think you have enough dots. Then you have an amazing DIY.
Hope you enjoyed this post and here a little FYI. Some people have been asking about the links and ads on this site. Well a lot of the links on Thareni Nicola are affiliate links. These help the Thareni Nicola gain money to help this blog keep going. Also with ads they do the same thing. Both of these are per click.
